Zscaler Client Connector is not capturing IPV6 Traffic

Presently Zscaler Client Connector is not capturing IPV6 traffic.

In the forwarding profile you can specify to drop IPV6 traffic

and you can specify in the app profile for windows to prefer IPV4 over IPV6.

For Mac you can specify link local only.

To change these settings, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click Network in the sidebar, click a network service on the right, click Advanced (or Details for a Wi-Fi service), then click TCP/IP. (You may need to scroll down.)

Configure IPv6

Choose your ISP’s recommended IPv6 configuration method.

  • Automatically: Choose this if you receive an IPv6 address automatically from your ISP.

  • Manually: Choose this if you received a router address, IPv6 address, and prefix length from your ISP, then enter those values.

  • Link-local only: Choose this to limit IPv6 traffic to the local network.

These two options force the traffic back through zscaler.

The roadmap for IVP6 is defined though for end to end support.
